While a consistant yoga program is beneficial by itself often it is helpful to have an intention for your practice, Yoga programs are designed to help you achieve a specific goal or move through a particular set of events.

Chakra Course. 7 week program. Incorporate the knowledge of chakras with your personal experience. Postures, Charecteristics and personal guided meditation to help balance these energy centers. Each class focuses on one chakra. Expand your knowledge of these energy centers and how they affect your daily life.
7 wks.

Personal Power through Yoga
This program works specifically with opening the heart center and connecting more fully to the asanas and the gateway this can be to spiritual awakening.
3 wks.

Women's Transitions

Fertility to Delivery
From the early desire to bring a new life into the world through their first moments of life and beyond. Yoga and attention to a healthy mind/body state support you through this transition with ease.

Menopause - Is not a curse! Learn to manage symptoms and improve over-all well being. This is a powerful transition time in life and can be a very positive time if given attention. Yoga and mind / body training can help you feel supported by your body. Physiologically, as well as psychologically the gentle movements of yoga help restore a feeling of ease.

PMS - Every woman is different when it comes how our bodies handle the month to month cycle of change. Yoga assists in opening and allowing the flow while at the same time regulating hormonal responces in the body. The rhythm of the mind and the body can direct your experience, eliminating often debilitating symptoms.

The mind and the body are actually never separate. The slow intentional movements of yoga allow us to become more aware of and make the best use of this connection. Yoga teaches us to be aware of ourselves and supports us to develop strengths on and off the mat. Personal empowerment, self acceptance, flexibility in life as well as body are all gifts that come from a regular mind / body practice. Yoga is a term we have come to use for a type of movement. More accuratley it can be seen as a state of mind and body achieved through intention of movement, breath and awareness. Whether you are seeking a healthier body or a healthier mind you can find both in your practice. One will always lead to the other. There is no separation.
